Enhanced Trip Odometer

Overview of the Enhanced Trip Odometer

The Deluxe Gauge Software Reflash increases the number of re-settable trips from 2 to 3. In addition, it adds 3 automatic trip odometers that are reset on start-up of the snowmobile. The automatic trip odometers are useful if you forgot to reset a trip odometer at a gas station or some other location where you turned the sled off.

The following video demonstrates the Enhanced Trip Odometer feature:

How to use the Enhanced Trip Odometer Feature

The bottom of the LCD displays the odometer, re-settable trip odometers, automatic trip odometers, and engine hours count. To change what is being displayed at the bottom of the LCD press the down button.

How to tell what is displayed at the bottom of the LCD

When the odometer is being displayed, the ODO symbol will be displayed. When a trip odometer is displayed, a number from 1 to 6 will be displayed on the left, and the trip odometer on the right. When engine hours is being displayed the HRS symbol will be shown.

How the automatic trip odometers work

The first automatic trip odometer, which when displayed has the number 4 on the left, is reset to zero whenever the gauge is turned on. The second automatic trip odometer, which when displayed has the number 5 on the left, is set to the previous value of the first trip odometer whenever the gauge is turned on. The third and last automatic trip odometer, which when displayed has the number 6 on the left, is set to the previous value of the second automatic trip odometer.

How to reset a Trip Odometer

If a re-settable trip odometer is shown at the bottom of the LCD (a number is shown on the left from 1 to 3), the trip odometer can be reset by pressing and holding the down button.
