Engine Coolant Temp Alert
Overview of Engine Coolant Temp Alert Feature
The Deluxe Gauge Software Reflash allows you to configure a temperature at which the gauge will begin to flash the temp and oil lights, along with override the current Display Configuration and show the Engine Coolant Temperature. This allows you to dive into some loose snow or put down ice scratchers well before it is too late.
The following video demonstrates the Engine Coolant Temp Alert feature:
How to use the Engine Coolant Temp Alert Feature
When the engine coolant temperature exceeds the threshold:
The oil and temp lights will begin to flash. In addition, the LCD will display indicate that it is displaying engine coolant temperature at the top of the LCD, and flash the current engine coolant temperature in the center of the gauge. When the engine coolant temperature falls below the engine coolant alert temp, the gauge will stop flashing the oil and temp lights, and revert to the current display configuration of the LCD. Note that the menu system of the gauge will override the engine coolant temp display on the LCD. This allows the engine coolant temperature threshold to be changed after the threshold has been reached if necessary.
